Choice One Home Builders is not just your ordinary construction company. Founded in 2002, we've spent years perfecting our skills and assembling a team dedicated to finding, forming, and fortifying relationships with the best suppliers and subcontractors in the area. This unending commitment to quality materials & service ensures that we can construct the home of your dreams.
Like a great home, a great company begins with a strong foundation. At Choice One, our foundation could not have been stronger, as it began with our current President & second generation business owner, Tony Burnley. Tony brings a diverse set of knowledge to the company including a background in construction, property development, and as owner/operator of Burnley Sanitary Sewer and Drain Service.
Taking over the reigns as head of operations in 2006, is Tony's son Kevin, a third generation business owner and current Vice President. Upon Tony's foundation, Kevin helps strengthen the company with the diverse set of knowledge that he brings to the company. Kevin worked for several years, part-time at Burnley Sewer, while simultaneously getting a bachelor’s degree in biology, followed up with a Masters in Business Administration. Over the years Kevin has added to his diverse set of knowledge through certifications gained as owner and operator of Dependable Home Inspections and Dependable Remediation Services. He holds certifications which include Certified Professional Inspector through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultant, Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Rater, asbestos and lead based paint certifications, as well as IICRC technician in fire and smoke restoration, odor control, applied microbial remediation, carpet cleaning, and water damage restoration.
This unique set of skills that ownership possesses, brings a level of expertise to the construction industry that helps target important issues often overlooked, such as energy efficiency and indoor air quality within the home. Our reliable & quality vendors, subcontractors, and level of expertise give you an incredible experience throughout the construction process and an amazing home, with a focus on quality, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.

OUR TEAM
Tony Burnley, President
Tony was born with an entrepreneurial spirit, often making business deals at a young age doing things such as buying & selling of lunch vouchers at school, and cutting grass with a Huffy push mower. He worked a variety of jobs with his father in his younger years that included residential construction, septic systems, as well as clearing & grading. In 1988 he formed Burnley Sanitary Sewer & Drain Service where he remained as owner and operator until the end of 2023. Tony has been buying and selling property since the age of eighteen and took on a bigger scale land development in 1995 with Autumn Ridge Subdivision in McDuffie County. Other later developments include Heather’s Glenn Subdivision in Richmond County, Brandimere Townhomes in Columbia County, and Millbrook Subdivision in McDuffie County.
Kevin received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Business Administration at Augusta State University before becoming a superintendent at Choice One Home Builders. Since 2006, Kevin has been running day-to-day operations at Choice One Home Builders. At the height of the recession Kevin opened Dependable Home Inspection (DHI), starting in the fall of 2009. Today DHI is one of the top performers of energy efficiency services on new construction in the CSRA. DHI also performs environmental testing for mold, asbestos, and lead, providing services for Georgia cities, counties, and agencies such as the CSRA Regional Commission, government assisted programs such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and Community Home Investment Program (CHIP). In early2016, Kevin launched a disaster restoration division, Dependable Remediation Services, which provides water, fire, smoke, mold, sewage, and storm damage remediation services for residential and light commercial properties.
